Digital London Model enlarged to 70 km2

AccuCities digital 3D model of London has been enlarged from 60 km² to 70 km² in its latest update from 2022 imagery. The city model is available in Medium (Level 2) and High Detail (Level 3) versions. Structured in 500 x 500 metre tiles, this 3D city model has been used on thousands of projects by over a hundred UK architectural, real-estate developers and planning industry customers.

The Digital 3D Model of London was updated last year from the latest aerial imagery. Every one of the 240 tiles (each covering 500 x 500 meters of the real-world city), has been updated to reflect all the changes in London since 2019. And now, using the same latest aerial survey data, we have enlarged the model to 70 square kilometers by capturing and adding 40 new tiles.

AccuCities 3D context models are georeferenced in the OS coordinate system and available in AutoCad, SketchUp and FBX formats, enabling architects to use the data directly in their production pipeline. Ideal for environmental studies, daylight & sunlight studies, pedestrian wind comfort modelling, architectural visualisations, and much more.

AccuCities 3D city models are accurate to 15 cm, created using photogrammetry from the latest high-resolution aerial imagery. The London model has been created from 2022 imagery and includes our Future Skyline Layer, a constantly updated collection of 3D models of buildings with granted planning permission.
