Game Engines such as Epic Games’ Unreal Engine are often used by architects to create visualisations and interactive presentations as well as for urban planning purposes. UE5-powered Plan.City is used by architects, planners and consultants to quickly create and explore design iterations compliant with various planning restrictions and regulations. Developed to assist planners in London, the app is now available for any site in the UK. This webinar will illustrate the new capabilities of the app, including working with Google 3D city models via Unreal Engine Cesium plugin as well as displaying results of Daylight & Sunlight and Rights to Light studies from the MBS Software.
The webinar is brought to you by Trending Now Architecture.

Brais Brenlla Ramos, Head of Development at AccuCities

Brais Brenlla Ramos studied architecture at Universidade da Coruña and got his Master Master in Computer Animation at Kingston University, UK. He has been at the forefront of the continuous development of Plan.City, an urban planning app developed by AccuCities. Using a combination of Unreal Engine blueprints, coding and leveraging existing 3rd party technologies, Brais has imported large-scale 3D city models into a game engine, overlaid the city model with various databases, and developed a series of tools to answer some of the most common urban planning questions rapidly.
By attending this webinar, you will learn how to leverage the power of Unreal Engine in Planning in London and across the UK. Answer common urban planning questions and communicate results of planning studies.
