After nearly 2 years of impeccable service as our Operations Manager, Rachel Rowson has decided to leave us to do real architecture. Architecture is where her heart is; we have hired her from Zaha Hadid Architecture and now, to fully qualify as Part 3 RIBA architect, she will continue her career at Inner Circle Consulting.

“We are incredibly proud to have persuaded Rachel to come and work for us for this – however short it seems – period,” says Sandor Petroczi, AccuCities Director. “Rachel has taken an impeccably focused approach to every single project, making sure that every 3D model is delivered on time, every time. This has resulted in improvements in our operations, shortening the average delivery time of a project from 5 to 4 days. She is a great resource to lose but as we have no artistic license in what we do, there was very little space for her to grow as an architect. I get it and certainly wish her the best in her career.”

Rachel has brought in a unique perspective into all aspects of AccuCities operations. We have much better understanding on how current architecture studios operate, how they transfer and cross-reference 3D models formats and many other small but cumulatively hugely significant tweaks to how we operate as a company.

“Rachel has taken up the role of Operations Manager much better than we expected,” says Michal Konicek. “It’s not easy, especially for a new starter, to be a client facing person on one hand and boss/colleague/manager of third parties/events organiser in one. She has done brilliantly on every level, never losing her temper and was overall a great sport, gluing our team together. She will be enthusiastically missed, meaning she will be missed, but we are all great fans of her future career. Cannot wait to import her skyscrapers into our city models. And yes, I meant the plural.”

Rachel, we all wish you all the best, don’t be a stranger, and do remember the little people you have worked with on your way to do “real” architecture. Your new team is lucky to have you.
